Floor and Ceiling Leveling

As a home ages, some building materials start to deflect downward under constant load. The deflection is a natural response for wood beams and joists which generally would not be considered a structural concern. Often times, the sagging is minimal and poses a visual eye sore when finishes start to crack, such as drywall.

In other circumstances, if the deflections extend noticeably past the norm then sagging floors can be a warning sign of structural issues such as improper construction, over spanning joists, improper load bearing wall removals or alterations, rotting or water damage or simply cracked support beams.

Whatever the cause for the deflection and whatever the reason for your discomfort with a sagging floor or ceiling, with our service your floors and ceilings will once again become straight and level!
